HR Business Partner

About the Job:

As a strategic HR Business Partner, you will report to the HR Manager and collaborate with the HR Department to support employee relations, budgeting, resource planning, recruitment, and HR policy development. Your role is critical in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units, ensuring HR activities are integrated and consistent with the company’s strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR requirements for designated business units.
  • Foster effective relationships between HR and business units.
  • Conduct site visits and monthly meetings with project management teams.
  • Develop close working relationships with Business Unit Managing Directors.
  • Contribute to strategic and operational HR decision-making.
  • Communicate HR management’s key messages consistently across the group.
  • Provide daily HR guidance and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Generate and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and GDPR.
  • Attend industrial relations meetings and external hearings as needed.
  • Support managers in staff performance management and training needs assessment.
  • Lead Group HR projects as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years in a similar role, with senior generalist experience.
  • CIPD membership or willingness to upgrade.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of European Employment laws is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
  • German language skills are desirable but not essential.
