Temporary Receptionist-PSOE

Location: Dublin 3
Contract: Temporary
Contract Length: Until December 2025
Position: Full-Time
Hours Per Week: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Hours-Of-Work: Mon-Fri; 9AM to 5.30PM
Work Environment: Office-Based

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | €30,000 – €35,000 per annum (pro rata)


About the Role

We are seeking a professional and experienced Temporary Receptionist to support a busy corporate office based in Dublin 3. This is a front-of-house, office-based role requiring strong communication skills, excellent presentation, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a professional services environment.

Important: Due to the immediate nature of this requirement, only applicants currently living in Dublin (Marino, Clontarf, East Wall, Docklands or City Centre areas) will be considered. Applicants must be available to start immediately.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a busy front desk: welcoming visitors, answering and directing calls, and handling messages with professionalism.
  • Produce high-standard documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and maintain schedules.
  • Handle post and courier arrangements.
  • Provide general administrative support: filing, scanning, archiving, and data input.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of previous experience in a commercial or corporate office environment where English was the primary language.
  • Fluent English – written and spoken – is a must.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, grammar, and professional presentation.
  • Proven ability to manage time, multitask, and work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a legal, engineering, architectural, or similar office environment.
  • Confident liaising with clients and internal teams in a professional setting.
  • Comfortable managing confidential information.

  • This role is best suited to those residing in Marino, Clontarf, East Wall, Docklands, or Dublin City Centre, for ease of daily commute.
