Duties

As the Temporary Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming Visitors: Managing the sign-in process and providing PPE for site visits.
  • Reception Operations: Handling incoming calls and emails, opening the barrier and main door, and managing visitor enquiries.
  • Office Logistics: Coordinating incoming and outgoing post, ordering office supplies, and keeping stationery records updated.
  • Meeting Room Support: Setting up meeting spaces with water, glasses, and any additional requests.
  • Administrative Tasks: Booking hotels, processing credit card expenses, and dispatching parcels via DHL.
  • Facility Maintenance: Distributing fruit baskets, cleaning the coffee machine daily, and ensuring printers are stocked with ink cartridges.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Previous Front Desk Experience: Receptionist or customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Friendly, clear, and professional interactions with visitors and staff.
  • Organisational Abilities: Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and manage schedules efficiently.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with basic office software, meeting room booking systems, and tasks like laminating and binding.
  • Flexibility and Reliability: Commitment to covering all assigned dates, including the training session on 17th December.
