About the Job

We are seeking immediately available temporary receptionists for short-term assignments across Dublin. These roles involve front desk management, greeting visitors, handling calls, organising post, and managing meeting room bookings. Assignments typically range from one to two weeks, covering holiday leave for clients in professional office settings.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, reception experience, and a professional approach. Candidates must be flexible in the areas they are willing to cover and have the ability to travel easily to Dublin 1, Dublin 2, Dublin 4, and Sandyford.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring efficient communication.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, including liaising with couriers.
  • Oversee meeting room bookings and ensure smooth scheduling.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and document preparation.
  • Support office personnel with general reception duties.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Immediate availability – must be able to start on short notice.
  • Minimum 2 years’ reception experience in a corporate or professional setting.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple locations – must be willing and able to travel to Dublin 1, Dublin 2, Dublin 4, and Sandyford.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for basic administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Friendly and professional demeanour – ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in fast-paced office environments.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems.
  • Previous temporary or contract-based work experience.
