We’re recruiting for a highly capable Temporary Legal Secretary to support a busy solicitor handling personal injury and medical negligence claims. This short-term position—initially for 1-2 Months—offers the opportunity to step into a dynamic office environment in Dublin 4 and contribute from day one.
You’ll be handling core legal secretarial duties including dictaphone typing, preparing legal briefs and pleadings, and working with Keyhouse Case Management software. This role is ideal for someone confident in managing a legal caseload, well-versed in Microsoft Office, and skilled in keeping files and schedules organised under pressure.

🧾 Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to a solicitor specialising in litigation
- Transcribe audio dictation accurately and efficiently
- Prepare briefs for counsel and draft pleadings
- Use Keyhouse Case Management software to manage case documentation
- Format legal documents using Microsoft Word
- Maintain and file legal correspondence
- Handle general legal administrative duties with precision and professionalism
✅ Essential Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in litigation or medical negligence
- Immediate availability to commence employment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong dictaphone typing skills with high accuracy
- Experience with Keyhouse or similar case management software
- Solid understanding of legal documentation such as pleadings and briefs
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
