Our client is dedicated to improving the quality of life through innovative products and services. The Dublin-based Technical Operations team is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of all third-party manufacturing partners within their network.

About the Job

The Technical Operations Project Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely execution of all Technical Operations projects, including New Product Introductions, Process Validations, and Technology Transfers. Collaborating closely with scientists, engineers, supply chain professionals, and other stakeholders, you will create and maintain project schedules that drive focused execution and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Schedule Development:

  • Develop detailed project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Coordinate resource allocation with team leads.
  • Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and conflicts.

Task Coordination and Tracking:

  • Assign tasks and track progress in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor critical activities and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Provide schedule updates and insights in project meetings.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate schedule changes to project stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular status reports highlighting milestones, delays, and dependencies.
  • Align schedules with overall project goals in coordination with project managers.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and versions.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance scheduling processes.

Pharmaceutical-Specific Considerations:

  • Understand timelines for technology transfers, process validations, regulatory submissions, and product launches.
  • Ensure schedules align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience in project scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device industry preferred but not essential.
  • 1-3 Years experience using SAP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Life Sciences, or Project Management).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry processes and regulations.
