About the Role
We’re seeking a Temporary Technical Administrator to join the ICT team of a leading research organisation in Oranmore. This role focuses on administrative, budgetary, and procurement support within a public sector environment, ideal for candidates with strong organisational skills and experience using tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

- Provide administrative support for budgets, contracts, and procurement
- Assist with documentation and reporting, including public sector approvals
- Support meetings and project coordination for the ICT team
- Maintain and organise SharePoint and digital records
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors
- Monitor spending and contribute to budget tracking
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Experience | Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative or ICT support role. |
Communication | Clear and confident written and spoken English. Comfortable liaising across departments. |
Technical Skills | Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. |
Organisation | Ability to balance multiple deadlines and follow instructions independently or as part of a team. |
It’s a Plus If You Also Demonstrate
Public Sector Knowledge
Experience with Circular 14/21 or public sector administration.
Procurement Support
Familiarity with public sector procurement processes.
Project Assistance
Experience supporting ICT or admin-led projects.
Meeting Coordination
Experience organising meetings and taking minutes.
