A permanent, full-time Student Services Coordinator role is now available at a prestigious private school in Dublin. This on-site position requires an administrator with over 4 years of senior experience specifically within a school, college, or university setting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting students, parents, and academic staff, contributing to a busy and structured academic environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for student and parent queries (in person, phone, and email).
- Provide admin support to the Principal, Deputy Principal, and academic teams.
- Coordinate examinations, student reports, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
- Maintain accurate student records and update internal databases.
- Assist with school timetables, communications, and academic reporting.
- Liaise with teaching staff and school departments to support day-to-day operations.
- Support international student admin and assist with student activities.
- Occasionally supervise study periods or classrooms in a teacher’s absence.
Requirements
Senior Admin Experience | 4+ years’ senior administrative experience within a school, college, university, or academic setting. |
English Fluency | Fluent English speaker – both written and verbal. |
Office Experience | 4–5 years’ total experience in an English-speaking office environment. |
Software Proficiency | Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). |
Skills | Confident multitasker with strong organisational skills. |
Personal Qualities | Friendly, reliable, and calm under pressure. |
Attention to Detail | High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information. |
Work Eligibility | Must be eligible to work in Ireland – no visa sponsorship available. |
Availability | Willing to attend occasional weekend events (e.g., open days or awards). |
LMS Experience | Experience using learning management systems such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas. |
