We are hiring a Student Admissions Officer to join the Admissions Team at a well-regarded secondary-level institution. About the Role – Administration Officer
As the first point of contact for prospective students and their families, this role requires a professional, organised, and compassionate approach to guiding parents through the admissions process. You will act as an Administration Officer within the Admissions Department, working closely with the Admissions Manager to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for all applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, and in-person enquiries.
- Provide clear and accurate information on Junior & Leaving Cert Programmes.
- Guide prospective families through the application and enrolment process.
- Review submitted documentation and liaise with the Admissions Manager to confirm eligibility.
- Record and maintain accurate applicant data on the CRM system (Salesforce).
- Arrange and follow up on student interviews and issue related correspondence.
- Assist in the organisation and hosting of open days and promotional events.
- Ensure consistent communication in line with the school’s key messages.
- Build positive relationships with both internal colleagues and prospective families.
- Represent the school with professionalism, warmth, and discretion.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably gained within a secondary education, private school, or university/college environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and empathetic communication style.
- Confident multitasker with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience desirable.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with discretion.
- Background in a sales role is an advantage.
