📌 Strategic Purchasing Coordinator – Fixed-Term Contract (Pharmaceuticals)
Location: Dublin 4 (Hybrid – Office Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Salary: €52,000–€55,000 pro-rata
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Contract Duration: 3 months

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee purchasing activities for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) for US-based sites.
- Arrange and lead supplier calls; manage follow-ups and purchase order tracking
- Resolve order delays, delivery issues, and other procurement concerns
- Provide timely responses to manufacturing site requests (within 24 hours)
- Maintain accurate sourcing records and update relevant databases
- Create presentations and updates for internal stakeholders
🎯 What You Bring:
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Confident managing databases and supplier relationships
Experience:
- 3+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (preferably in a regulated or pharma environment)
- Demonstrated experience coordinating vendor communications
- Familiarity with multinational teams and international time zones
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field
- Previous experience in a GMP or pharmaceutical setting is advantageous
- Lean Six Sigma or project management experience is a bonus

You’ll join a dedicated and collaborative purchasing team supporting global operations from Dublin. Reporting to the Director of EPI Sourcing, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining continuity during this FTC, liaising closely with teams in the US and suppliers worldwide. You’ll need to be proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-border setting.
