About the Job

Reporting to the API System Leader, the Quality Control Data Specialist will support the day-to-day production record review requirements for all cleaning, pre-production records, and all miscellaneous records as executed to support the manufacturing facilities. In addition, the role will ensure any electronic data associated with the day-to-day production records is reviewed and within the defined controlled limits. The Quality Control Data Specialist will support and facilitate Quality Assurance to ensure right first-time metrics are adhered to and maintain GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review of Records: Execute the review of paper and electronic cleaning, pre-production, and subdivision records, identifying any quality-related issues, ensuring data integrity adherence, and clearly communicating with the relevant areas to ensure corrections are performed as defined in a timely manner.
  • Electronic Data Management: Execute the associated electronic review associated with the data defined in the production records, ensuring alignment and adherence to quality guidance.
  • Orphan Data Review: Perform orphan data review for relevant systems to ensure all data associated with a production/cleaning activity is accounted for and included within the review period. Investigate and document any anomalies with the relevant data identified, ensuring thorough data validation.
  • Process Improvement: Support development and optimization of systems to implement and improve electronic data management and orphan data reviews.
  • Communication: Communicate production record improvements based on repeated corrections identified to the production record management owner, contributing to overall process improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure your role is performed in a safety-compliant manner with adherence to all GMP policies and procedures and regulatory compliance standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent in a Manufacturing Qualification.
  • GMP Compliance: Understanding of GMP compliance policies and ability to follow and execute policies and procedures and compliance with ALCOA+ principles.
  • Technical Skills: System skills and ability to learn new systems for effective electronic data management.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing activities and plant equipment, aligning with roles such as a manufacturing data analyst or production records analyst.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Interpersonal team membership, e.g., listening, integrating diverse perspectives, adds value to the achievement of team goals; providing feedback in a manner to gain results.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, communication skills both written and oral, time management, and quality data management.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Planning and scheduling capabilities for efficient production quality control.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Knowledge in quality systems specialist roles, compliance auditing, and manufacturing quality specialist tasks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and ability to ensure all tasks meet these standards.
