The role focuses heavily on data entry through SAP, along with invoicing, order processing, and general office administration. As a key part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining product information on the company’s website and SAP system while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all administrative tasks. The company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, ideally with a secretarial qualification, such as a Pitman Certification in Secretarial or Business Administration or an RSA Typing qualification. Key Highlights
- Data Entry & Website Management: Input and update product information, including images and descriptions, ensuring accuracy within the SAP system.
- Order Processing & Invoicing: Manage customer orders, process invoices and delivery dockets.
- Statements & Documentation: Prepare and send statements (no credit control required).
- General Office Administration: Handle filing, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.
- System Management: Assist with the integration of the SAP system with the company website.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide administrative assistance to cover for colleagues during leave or absence.
Requirements:
Essential Requirements
- SAP System Knowledge: Experience with SAP or similar management systems.
- Office Administration Experience (5+ years): Proven experience handling invoicing, order processing, and administrative duties.
- Secretarial & Business Administration Training – Qualifications from Pitman Training, or similar institutions are highly regarded.
- Touch Typing & Shorthand Training – RSA Typing or Pitman certifications are highly desirable.
- Computer Literacy – Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel (basic to intermediate skills).
- Data Entry & Accuracy: Strong attention to detail when inputting and managing data.
- Bookkeeping & Invoicing: Experience processing invoices and delivery dockets.
- IT Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel (basic-intermediate), and SharePoint.
- Communication Skills: A professional and courteous telephone manner.
- Adaptability: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks within an office environment.
