Our client is a prominent legal practice located in Dublin, renowned for providing exceptional legal services in the healthcare sector. About the Job:

This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Healthcare Department, primarily assisting partners and solicitors. The ideal candidate will have previous legal secretarial experience and possess excellent organisational skills, ability to type 60 WPM and document preparation abilities, as well as, a thorough understanding of legal procedures and terminology. Applicants are aware that this is a hybrid job; they must be willing to commute into the central Dublin 2 office location three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial support as required.
  • Edit and proofread legal documents.
  • Maintain the calendar by scheduling conferences, depositions, and meetings.
  • Welcome clients and conduct initial screenings.
  • Organise and update all legal documents.
  • Ensure court documents are in order and filed before deadlines.
  • Answer emails and phone calls, redirecting calls when necessary.
  • Prepare various legal documents including appeals, motions, and petitions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a legal secretary.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience with health law (desirable).
  • In-depth knowledge of legal documents and terminology.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM.
