Junior Call Agent-Inbound Calls

Contract: Temporary
Contract Length: November 2024 to April 2025
Position: Full-Time
Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week

Job Overview

As a Junior Call Agent specialising in inbound calls, you will play a key role in providing high-quality support to customers across Ireland during times of need, such as vehicle breakdowns or emergencies. You will work with a passionate team to ensure customers receive timely and efficient assistance, all while maintaining a calm and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
  • Assist customers facing issues such as vehicle breakdowns or accidents by gathering necessary information and coordinating appropriate services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing clear updates and solutions throughout their assistance process.
  • Utilise your knowledge of Irish geography to efficiently arrange assistance services.
  • Monitor ongoing cases to ensure services are provided within set timeframes.
  • Manage sensitive conversations with professionalism, especially in cases where services may not be covered.
  • Comply with regulations such as FCA guidelines when handling complaints and regulated calls.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience: At least 1-2 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for clear and effective interaction with customers.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with Irish locations is important to coordinate assistance accurately.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You should be able to convey information in a calm and clear manner, especially in stressful situations.
  • Multi-tasking Ability: Capable of managing several ongoing cases at once without compromising on service quality.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Empathy and Patience: The ability to handle customer queries in a reassuring and understanding way, especially in challenging situations.
