About the Job

We are seeking a Healthcare Solicitor to join the Healthcare division of our client’s law firm, providing high-level legal services to clients within the healthcare sector. This role involves advising and representing regulatory bodies, public sector clients, and professional regulators, particularly in the context of Fitness to Practise complaints and Statutory Inquiries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act for regulatory bodies in Fitness to Practise complaints and Statutory Inquiries.
  • Advise public bodies and professional regulators on their statutory duties.
  • Present preliminary applications to Committees of Inquiry.
  • Provide healthcare advisory services, including drafting detailed advices on healthcare law and regulatory issues.
  • Manage client relationships with public sector clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Generate and maintain knowledge management resources and precedents within professional regulation and healthcare sectors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications: Solicitor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in healthcare law.
  • Experience: Proven experience acting for regulatory bodies and advising on Fitness to Practise complaints and Statutory Inquiries.
  • Skills: Strong advocacy skills are an advantage. Demonstrated experience in client management and the ability to generate and maintain high-quality knowledge management resources.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a specialist team.
