We are hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician to take care of a high-profile commercial building in Dublin 4. You’ll play a key role in keeping the building running smoothly—handling everything from planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to troubleshooting and reactive repairs. As part of the core maintenance team, you’ll work on-site full-time, with no travel required.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Ensuring HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems operate efficiently.
- Reactive Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing faults promptly to minimise downtime.
- Building Management System (BMS): Managing and responding to maintenance tickets and calls.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Following best practices, risk assessments, and safety regulations.
- Client & Staff Interaction: Acting as a professional point of contact for on-site personnel.
- General Building Maintenance: Conducting minor repairs, including plumbing, welding, and building fabric maintenance.
What You Need to Succeed
Essential Requirements
✔️ 3-4 years’ experience in a similar building maintenance role.
✔️ Recognised trade qualification in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical fields.
✔️ Technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.
✔️ Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault-finding.
✔️ Strong communication skills – confident in engaging with clients and staff.
✔️ Ability to work independently while being part of a close-knit team.
Desirable Skills
➕ Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
➕ IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
➕ Familiarity with continuous improvement principles in maintenance operations.
