OUTLINE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the hard surfaces and general upkeep of a Dublin City Centre property. Working directly with the facilities manager and assistant manager, this position would suit an individual with a trade background and an interest in developing their FM experience.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning communal areas
- Manage the supplies and equipment for the facility
- Carry out weekly fire alarm checks
- H&S checks
- PAT Testing
- Legionella testing
- Low Level electrical maintenance
- Assisting the manager with key tasks
- Management and upkeep of hard services
- Management and upkeep of resident facilities, e.g. ensuring arrangements are in place for the removal of refuse
- Sourcing of suppliers
- Carrying out first line maintenance and assisting specialist contractors when required
- Occasional front-of-house duties
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic CRB disclosure
- X2 Years maintenance experience
- Trade experience or qualification in any of the following: carpentry, electrician, plumbing, etc.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
- Customer service experience
- A team player and willingness to get involved in social functions
- A willingness to continually develop their skills and attend relevant training
