We are seeking an experienced Estate Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a multi-building campus in Shannon, Co. Clare. Reporting directly to the Property Manager, this hands-on role involves working closely with a skilled on-site team, including two Building Managers and a Community Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Property Oversight
- Budget Management: Manage campus facilities budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness for both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Act as the primary point of contact for health and safety, ensuring compliance and liaising with insurance brokers.
- Contractor Coordination: Select, manage, and evaluate contractors to ensure high service standards.
- Sustainability Focus: Drive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, ensuring compliance and accurate data tracking.
- Tenant Relations: Build and maintain excellent tenant relationships by addressing operational queries promptly.
Team Leadership
- Staff Management: Lead weekly team meetings, provide training to Building Managers, and maintain a high-functioning on-site team.
- Maintenance Oversight: Support team efforts to maintain facilities, implement preventive maintenance, and manage asset registers.
- Reporting Excellence: Collaborate with team members to create detailed property condition and operational reports for senior management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Qualification in Property or Facilities Management: A formal qualification in a relevant field is essential.
- Commercial Property Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with strong technical expertise.
- Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to manage relationships with tenants, contractors, and team members effectively.
- Organisational & Technical Proficiency: Experience with systems like Yardi, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proactive Problem Solver: A results-driven approach, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
