About the Role

We’re hiring a Childcare Operations Manager for a 9-month maternity cover. Based at the head office of a growing childcare facility chain, this role involves leading facilities management and administrative teams to ensure the smooth running of 22 services across 15 locations.

This position is perfect for a detail-oriented leader with experience in regulated environments such as childcare, education, or corporate services. You’ll thrive here if you have a knack for managing people, juggling priorities, and maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies like Tusla, EHO, and Pobal.


Key Highlights

  • Leadership: Manage and motivate teams across facilities management and administration.
  • Compliance: Maintain regulatory standards with bodies such as Tusla and Pobal.
  • Process Improvement: Develop SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee maintenance schedules, contractor relationships, and procurement.
  • Administration: Manage customer communications, funding applications, and marketing efforts.

What You Need to Succeed

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in operations, facilities, or administrative management.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and lead projects.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with the Irish childcare sector.
  • Experience working in education, non-profits, or corporate services.
