Job Overview:
The Business Analyst will play a critical role in managing, analysing, and interpreting data to support strategic decisions, particularly regarding compliance enforcement. This position also involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing data-related tasks, and producing meaningful insights. Strong communication and people management skills are essential, alongside significant experience in data analysis.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Gather, analyse, and interpret data to support decision-making processes and improve compliance strategies.
- Reporting: Produce comprehensive reports on data findings, focusing on improving operational performance and regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure alignment with regulations and policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes through data insights.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure ongoing adherence to environmental regulations by maintaining oversight of data integrity and analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Membership and Recruitment teams to provide data-driven insights that support organisational growth.
- Training: Assist in training teams on new data management systems and analysis techniques to improve overall data literacy within the organisation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive data-focused projects.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably within a regulatory, environmental, or compliance-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success in working with stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Prior experience managing and analysing large datasets to deliver strategic insights.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Business, or Compliance.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations or sustainability initiatives is advantageous.
