Location: Dublin 2

Salary: Max €45k
Hours Per Week: 39 Hours Per Week

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager to join a leading Property Management Company in Central Dublin 2. This role involves supporting the management of a commercial property within a well-established portfolio. Duties & Responsibilities

As an Assistant Property Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Facilities and Maintenance Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day maintenance, planned preventative maintenance programmes, and asset registers.
    • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and insurance requirements.
    • Manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives and upload relevant data to ESG platforms.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Manage budgets, process purchase orders, and approve invoices through the Yardi Property Management System.
    • Assist senior team members with annual budget preparation and quarterly expenditure reviews.
  • Team Management & Communication:
    • Liaise with tenants regarding operational matters.
    • Coordinate with contractors for tendering and service contract negotiations.
    • Document property inspections and report to senior team members and clients.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Prepare reports on property conditions and manage queries with insurance brokers.
    • Conduct regular site visits and maintain inspection records.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Property or Facilities Management qualification – essential for success in this role.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial property management environment.
  • Technical knowledge or facilities management experience – a solid understanding of building operations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work well with tenants, clients, and contractors.
  • Strong IT and organisational skills – experience with property management software is advantageous.
  • Proactive and deadline-driven – capable of managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
