About the Job

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial and budgetary requirements are met efficiently. You will collaborate with the finance team to manage resident rent accounts, process transactions, and provide timely reports. This hybrid role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address resident queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Post all  transactions to the accounting software.
  • Ensure charges comply with rental policies.
  • Reconcile information across various IT systems.
  • Complete periodic bank reconciliations.
  • Investigate amounts in the Suspense Account.
  • Provide periodic and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Assist with other financial projects and duties.
  • Provide cover for finance staff during holidays and busy periods.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounts receivable.
  • Accounting Technician qualification is advantageous.
  • Previous knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and accounting systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with bank reconciliation.
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
