About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join our client’s  Property Management Department. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Accounts and will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients on ongoing accounts and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor budgets and prepare monthly and quarterly reports comparing actual figures against budget.
  • Manage monthly management reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare and audit Service Charge Budget versus Actual Reports.
  • Oversee the corporation tax compliance process.
  • Review bimonthly VAT returns.
  • Monitor cash balances and review payment instructions for policy compliance.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and manage audit processes in both FRS 102 and IFRS.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects that add value.
  • Prepare and file quarterly regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Must possess a CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with Yardi software is highly desirable.
  • Essential candidates must have previous exposure to property client finance in the past.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
