Project Manager Job Outline:

In your role as Project Manager you will be responsible for the company’s latest acquisition by overseeing all aspects of real estate project management. This will include budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk. This role requires strong project management skills and previous experience related to real estate construction projects, such as contracts, leases, and project charters.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Project Manager, you will be tasked with preparing project-specific request for proposal documents and procuring in-country design, project management, and cost consultancy teams for large-scale projects, ensuring they meet the client’s requirements, design standards, program, budget, and cultural values.
  • Building strong relationships with key project stakeholders, including the client’s Facilities and Project Management Team, Audio Visual, Security, Events, Network, Finance, Legal, Facilities Ops, and culinary teams, you will anticipate and respond to their needs and concerns.
  • You will prepare the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate, budget, cash flow, program and milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Working closely with the Client Project Manager, you will ensure project goals are met, developing, and implementing action plans to correct variances and resolve project issues.
  • You must have experience as a Project Manager delivering office fit-out and clean room or laboratory projects, with a strong understanding of construction projects and delivery at a senior level.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a technical area of study (construction/engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • A supplementary Project Management qualification is preferred
  • PM-specific certificates/licenses are required
  • The ability to read and understand typical project documentation, including legal contracts, leases, design and specification documentation, and design standards
  • 5 years of experience delivering large-scale commercial office fit-out and clean room projects
  • Strong knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
