About the Role
We are recruiting a School Administrator for a private secondary school in Dublin. You’ll be the main point of contact in a busy front office, supporting the school’s students, staff, and families with a broad range of administration tasks.

37.5 hours/week, no shift workWhat You’ll Be Doing
- Front desk: manage queries from students and parents in person, by phone, and by email
- Support Principal, Deputy Principal, and Year Heads with reporting, meetings, and timetables
- Coordinate examinations, deadlines, and internal school events
- Assist international student administration and support related events
- Supervise study hall and cover classes during teacher absences
- Participate in school events including open days and parent meetings (some weekends)
- Support school outings, tech rollouts, and daily operations
- Carry out additional tasks as requested by senior leadership
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Legal Work Status | You must have the legal right to work and reside in Ireland without restriction. This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship and we are unable to consider candidates on temporary work permits. |
Experience | 3–5 years’ admin experience, ideally in education, student services, or a structured office environment |
Communication | Fluent English speaker with confident written and verbal skills |
Organisation | Strong multitasker with excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure |
Technical Skills | Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; comfortable with CRM or database systems |
Qualifications | Leaving Certificate required; relevant third-level qualification desirable |
Professionalism | Discreet, responsible, and comfortable handling confidential information |

• Exam or event coordination experience
• Familiarity with student support and attendance systems
• Background in working with international students
• Use of CRM tools, Xero, Moodle, or student databases
