Step into the dynamic property management industry as an Assistant Building Manager. In this role, you will support the day-to-day management of a commercial corporate building in Central Dublin 2. Duties
- Manage property operations within agreed budgets.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance by engaging contractors.
- Approve invoices and track expenditures using property management software.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing budgets with senior team members.
- Conduct regular site visits and document inspections.
- Develop and oversee preventative maintenance plans and asset registers.
- Implement Health and Safety protocols and ensure insurance compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on property conditions for senior team members.
- Liaise with tenants on building operations and address concerns.
- Manage tender processes for service contracts.
- Drive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and report progress.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Property or Facility Management – Academic or professional certification.
- Corporate building management experience – Minimum of 2 years in a related role.
- Technical and facilities management knowledge – Familiarity with maintenance processes and systems.
- Strong communication skills – Ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational abilities – Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in IT systems – Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
- Initiative and teamwork – A proactive approach with a collaborative mindset.
