Part-Time Technical Service Dispatcher

Expanding into Ireland, they are seeking to fill a critical role within their customer care team to support and dispatch technical service requests.


About the Job

As a Part-Time Technical Service Dispatcher, you will support our client’s customer care operations by managing incoming service requests and dispatching technicians to address customer needs. This role is ideal for candidates with previous call centre experience and a strong technical support background. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial for liaising between customers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage incoming technical support requests.
  • Dispatch service technicians to customer sites as per the established process.
  • Collaborate with field service teams to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting assistance for basic technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls and resolutions in the CRM system.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service in line with agreed service levels (SLAs).
  • Communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams regarding updates, delays, or escalations.
  • Adhere to health and safety compliance in all activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2-3 years of experience in a call centre environment, with a focus on technical support and dispatching.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and related software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Tech-savvy, with a good understanding of technical troubleshooting.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication.

Essential Skills

  1. 2-3 years of experience in call centre technical support.
  2. Previous experience dispatching field service technicians.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  4. Proficient in CRM systems and related software.
  5. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  6. Tech-savvy with basic troubleshooting knowledge.
  7. Ability to manage pressure in a customer-facing environment.
