About the Job
As a Part-Time Technical Service Dispatcher, you will play a pivotal role in the customer care operations by managing incoming technical support requests and dispatching technicians to assist customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in call centres, particularly in technical support and dispatching. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential for coordinating between customers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure high-quality, timely service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate incoming technical support requests.
- Dispatch service technicians to customer sites based on requirements.
- Work closely with field service teams to organise repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Provide remote troubleshooting assistance for basic technical issues.
- Maintain accurate service records in the CRM system.
- Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained, adhering to SLAs.
- Effectively communicate updates, delays, and escalations to customers and teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all operations.
Essential Skills Needed
- 2-3 years of experience in call centre technical support.
- Minimum 2/3/ years demonstrated Experience dispatching field service technicians.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a customer-facing role.
- Basic technical troubleshooting knowledge.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a call centre environment focused on technical support and dispatching.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and related software.
