Key Responsibilities
- Daily Equipment Checks: Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and other key building utilities to ensure efficient operation and minimise potential issues.
- Immediate Repairs: Respond promptly to repair requests, diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain facility operations with minimal downtime.
- Site Visits (As Required): Travel to various corporate locations to handle inspections, repairs, or urgent facility needs.
- Task Planning and Documentation: Plan each job carefully, using method statements and risk assessments to maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Report Submission: Complete and submit detailed reports for each task, including follow-up needs and any projected costs for additional repairs.
- Helpdesk and Client Communication: Liaise with the helpdesk and occasionally with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, share insights for improvement, and contribute to facility function enhancement.
- Work-Life Balance: Follow a set schedule that supports work-life balance, with occasional flexibility for emergency situations.
Requirements
- Trade Qualification: Recognised trade certification in Plumbing or HVAC systems.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with expertise in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Health and Safety: Proven H&S training completion, with a proactive focus on maintaining a safe work environment.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to complete paperwork and check sheets accurately and efficiently.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a collaborative attitude.
- IT Literacy: Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Suite is an advantage.
- Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanour in client-facing situations.
