About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to play a crucial role in the upkeep and reliability of essential equipment and systems. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring smooth operations across various critical mechanical and electrical systems. You will also respond to emergency breakdowns and work with cross-functional teams to optimise equipment performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical background, with experience in systems such as steam boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, purified water, compressed air, and pump systems. You should possess excellent fault-finding skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have a solid understanding of safety procedures and industry best practices.

Maintenance & repair of critical systemsMechanical or Electrical Trade CertificationLevel 6 QQI / Apprenticeship Certification or equivalent
Preventative Maintenance ExpertiseExperience with vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, and thermal imaging
Operate & maintain HVAC, steam boilers, compressed air, purified water, and pump systemsTechnical Knowledge of Facility EquipmentExperience with steam boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and filtration systems
Use CMMS (SAP) to track and complete work ordersCMMS & Work Order ManagementMinimum 1 year experience using SAP or similar maintenance tracking system
Ensure compliance with GMP and safety standardscGMP & Safety Training (LOTO, Risk Assessments, H&S Standards)Knowledge and practical experience working in a regulated environment
Collaborate with vendors, engineers & project teamsCommunication & Coordination SkillsExperience working in multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with third-party vendors
Manage spare parts & supplies for ongoing maintenanceInventory & Ordering SystemsExperience assisting with stock control & procurement for maintenance operations
