Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive Contract Manager to join an incredible team at a state-of-the-art facility in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. This newly established site offers the opportunity to play a central role in managing critical maintenance and operational contracts. Key Responsibilities
As the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Contract Management: Oversee maintenance-related contractors, ensuring that all services meet high standards and comply with site-specific requirements.
- Procurement Coordination: Manage procurement processes for contractors, materials, and equipment essential to the site’s operational success.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Uphold strict adherence to compliance programs (GxP, regulatory) and ensure quality control across all site operations.
- Safety and Permitting: Administer contractor permits and ensure safety protocols are observed, both under client and internal guidelines.
- Maintenance Optimization: Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with planning teams, and optimize maintenance schedules.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor fixed and variable expenses, contributing to efficient budgeting and cost control.
- Performance Reporting: Maintain data integrity, compile performance metrics, and present timely reports to stakeholders.
- Training and Competency Management: Coordinate operational training and ensure staff are qualified, including scenario training and competency assessments.
- Project Management Support: Provide hands-on support for project handovers, system walk-downs, and final acceptance.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- 5+ Years of Experience in a similar role, ideally in building maintenance or a regulated industry.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of building services, including electrical, mechanical, and process engineering.
- Education Requirements: A degree in Electrical, Instrument, Mechanical, Operational, or Process Engineering. Relevant National Craft Certificates are also accepted.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Proven experience in EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) and regulatory compliance.
- CAFM and ERP System Proficiency: Familiarity with systems like PEMAC, SAP, or INFOR is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise maintenance staff, manage contractor relationships, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharma or Regulated Industry Experience: Familiarity with GxP compliance within pharma or similar sectors.
- ISOH Certification or Lean Six Sigma Training.
- Change Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in engineering change processes and system handovers.
