They seek experienced temporary receptionists to manage front-of-house duties and provide excellent administrative support during periods of staff leave, ensuring continuous professional service.

About the Job:

We are looking for experienced Temporary Receptionists available for short-term holiday cover and sort-term sick leave cover. The successful candidates will be responsible for handling front desk duties and administrative tasks in fast-paced, professional environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable
  • Greet and direct visitors appropriately
  • Handle incoming calls, manage switchboards, and transfer calls as necessary
  • Manage correspondence, including emails and mail distribution
  • Coordinate meetings, including setting up meeting rooms
  • Perform calendar management for staff
  • Handle administrative requests such as ordering taxis, making travel arrangements, and taking lunch orders
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in reception or similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
  • Fluent in English with professional communication ability
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Reliable and able to commute to central Dublin locations, often at short notice
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • A responsible and trustworthy character, able to adapt quickly to new environments
