Longford Contracts Manager

As part of their expansion, they are seeking a dynamic Longford Contracts Manager to drive strategic initiatives and ensure service excellence.

The Longford Contracts Manager will play a crucial role in managing and developing all contracts within the facility, ensuring client satisfaction, financial profitability, and the highest levels of service delivery based on a customer-focused approach. This position involves strategic planning, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, all within a sustainable and ethical operational framework.

  • Develop and implement strategic facilities management plans, focusing on sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
  • Lead risk assessments and mitigation strategies, ensuring a safe work environment for all.
  • Manage negotiations and contracts with suppliers, prioritizing quality and financial efficiency.
  • Drive energy management initiatives to reduce carbon footprint and operational costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align facilities strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee all mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and manage quality measures and procedures, promoting continuous improvement and two-way communication.
  • Monitor service delivery against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and implement measures to minimize deductions.
  • Manage project works, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and maximizing profitability.
  • Support commercial functions during the tendering process, focusing on labor and subcontractor elements.
  • A decade of experience in senior facilities management, with a proven track record in managing complex contracts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on team development and empowerment.
  • Strong project management abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Third-level qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • QQI Level 6 Certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience with GMP processes and compliance is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, customer-focused management style, and strong administration capabilities.
