About the Job
As the Field Engineer you will install and maintaining sophisticated telematics and vehicle technology systems, travelling to various site locations within the Dublin/Leinster region. This role is suited for those passionate about automotive technology and customer service, providing a unique chance to work hands-on with the latest advancements in the auto mechanic field.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain telematics devices and other vehicle technology systems, ensuring technical accuracy and high-quality service.
- Travel to client locations to perform installations and maintenance.
- Provide comprehensive customer support, explaining device functionalities and addressing client queries.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and service interventions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a fitter, including roles such as tyre fitter, windscreen repair technician, or similar positions at automotive service centres like Halfords or Express Tyres.
- Interest in automotive technology and eagerness to learn new skills through comprehensive training provided by the company.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong orientation towards providing outstanding customer service.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to manage a flexible schedule and work independently with minimal supervision.
