Job Overview

As the Data Analyst and Communications Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analysing data related to compliance enforcement while engaging with key stakeholders. You will maintain critical databases, develop insightful reports, and work closely with local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance. This position also involves supporting broader membership and recruitment efforts, ensuring that the organisation’s compliance framework is both effective and transparent.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Oversee and maintain the enforcement database within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Reporting: Produce monthly and quarterly reports on enforcement activities, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and manage communication protocols with local authorities and enforcement agencies to support compliance efforts.
  • Compliance Policy Implementation: Implement and manage the organisation’s enforcement policy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Education: Lead annual training sessions for enforcement officers on compliance procedures and updates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Membership and Recruitment teams to address enforcement-related issues and contribute to membership growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Skills:
    • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics, Office, and Power Apps.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years in a data analysis or compliance role, preferably in a regulatory or environmental context.
    • Experience in stakeholder management, particularly with local authorities or regulatory bodies.
  • Qualifications:
    • A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Environmental Science, or Compliance.
    • Familiarity with packaging regulations and relevant environmental legislation is a plus.
