The candidate is an experienced Operations and Project Manager with over 15 years’ experience managing facilities services, maintenance activities and contractor-delivered works across regulated and safety-critical environments.
They bring extensive experience overseeing day-to-day facilities operations on live client sites, ensuring safe, compliant and uninterrupted service delivery. Their background includes responsibility for operational performance, KPIs, budgets and cost control, workforce management, contractor performance, maintenance coordination and client relationships.
A key strength is the candidate’s ability to manage complex service delivery while retaining a practical, site-focused approach. They have acted as a primary client contact, coordinating operational requirements, resolving service issues and ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards.
The candidate also has substantial Health & Safety and compliance experience, including RAMS, permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, audits, inspections and contractor compliance. Their professional training includes construction safety management, confined space, working at height and other relevant safety qualifications.
From a people-management perspective, they have led recruitment, performance management, training and development, workforce scheduling and day-to-day staff management. They also bring experience managing company fleet and plant, including servicing, repairs and compliance requirements.
Their project background includes significant facilities maintenance, refurbishment, asset protection and infrastructure upgrade programmes within pharmaceutical, energy, transport and other highly regulated environments. They are comfortable coordinating contractors, managing budgets and maintaining operational continuity while works are undertaken on live sites.
