About the Job:

As the Senior Financial Consultant, you will provide expert advice and guidance to clients on managing their finances to achieve their financial goals. This includes advising on investments, retirement planning, and insurance, and creating comprehensive financial plans aligned with clients’ objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Channel Management:

  1. Develop and oversee various sales channels.
  2. Ensure these channels are performing optimally and contribute to the company’s growth.

Pipeline Cultivation:

  1. Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to build and manage sales pipelines.
  2. Focus on developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing ones.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  2. Ensure client needs are met with high standards of service, providing a personalised approach to financial planning.

Event Management:

  1. Participate in or lead events and presentations.
  2. Use these opportunities to showcase expertise and the company’s services.

Team Support:

  1. Support management and colleagues in various tasks.
  2. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Professional Advice:

  1. Provide expert advice on life, pensions, and investment products.
  2. Tailor financial solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.

Compliance Adherence:

  1. Ensure all financial recommendations and solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of the brokerage.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: At least 7 years of sales experience with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
  • Qualifications: QFA qualification and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of financial markets and broking environments.
    • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in IT and systems to enhance sales processes.

Work Environment and Benefits:

Professional Office-Based Environment:

  • The role is based in a professional office setting with standard working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, including a one-hour lunch break.
