This is an exciting opportunity for a BMS Technical Supervisor to oversee the effective operation, maintenance, and supervision of Building Management Systems (BMS), electrical controls, and associated systems across multiple sites in South Dublin. Key Highlights
- Manage and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Respond to and resolve BMS alarms, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to meet service requirements.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for accurate task tracking and reporting.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Supervise contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with agreed standards.
- Undertake small electrical and control system projects, including installation, commissioning, and documentation.
- Deliver consistently high levels of service and technical support.
What You Need to Succeed
Essential Requirements
- Technical expertise: Demonstrated experience in electrical and control systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
- BMS proficiency: Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems and their operational requirements.
- Health and safety compliance: Ability to implement and adhere to workplace safety protocols, including Risk Assessments and Safe Plans of Action.
- CMMS experience: Skilled in using maintenance management systems for task scheduling and record-keeping.
- Full clean driving license for travel between sites.
- Excellent communication skills: Capable of building effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
Desirable Skills
- Trade qualifications: A mechanical or electrical trade qualification to support maintenance versatility.
- Building services experience: Knowledge of general facilities maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs and plumbing.
