Outline:

As the technical administrator for the FM department, you will work as part of a team dedicated to the development and enhancement of the CMMS maintenance systems for our client. This will include development, implementation, and day-to-day operations. As such prior knowledge including a 3rd level qualification or trade experience in CMMS is preferential.

Responsibilities:

  • Help create and manage the company’s maintenance system on a daily basis.
  • Improve the Planned and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) system by creating job plans and setting maintenance schedules.
  • Handle the PPM Change Control System, ensuring smooth operation and execution.
  • Support the implementation of effective maintenance practices and technologies, such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS), by creating standard procedures for routine maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with Reliability Engineers to assess the importance of assets and develop new maintenance strategies and plans.
  • Register new equipment in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and create bill of materials (BOMs) for the same equipment.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification or a higher-level qualification in a relevant field, or experience in developing maintenance systems or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a maintenance systems environment, preferably in manufacturing with a strong focus on compliance.
  • Proficiency in using document management systems and common office applications.
  • Familiarity and experience with CMMS systems, ideally SAP and Procal.
  • Good knowledge of World Class Maintenance practices and expectations.
  • Understanding of maintenance systems and techniques such as preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as condition-based maintenance (CBM) and their practical applications.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset, data-driven approach, and attention to detail when working with systems.
