Soft Services Coordinator

Contract Length: Permanent
Position: Full-Time
Hours-Of-Work: 39 Hours Per Week
Work Environment: Professional Office Based

Outline:

As the soft service coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the non-technical aspects of facility management, such as custodial services, security, and maintenance of common areas for our client a leading food producer in Co. Cork.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years previous experince in building services and contractor coordination, in addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day operational management of the soft services on-site
  • Ensure that contractors legislative, regulatory accreditation and licensing are maintained for the facility.
  • Daily management and supervision of on-site contractors.
  • Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencement.
  • Ensure all works activities are carried out within agreed timelines, while ensuring safe systems of work (RA, MS, SPA and Permits) are adhered to.
  • Implement and manage the most effective operational and service strategies incorporating industry best practice and innovation that ensures business continuity for the client while achieving the cost savings specified.
  • Manage all site documentation and records are kept in clearly identified and retrievable systems.
  • Confirm that all Risk Assessment, Safe Plan of Actions, and Method Statements are in place and are adhered to at the place of work.
  • Clarify that all statutory inspections are planned and executed within agreed time scales
  • Ensure that CMMS activities are carried out within the agreed time scales and all relevant assets are identified with job plans.
  • Recommend improved ways of working to achieve goal of continuous improvement and best practices.

You will need:

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in building services or Contractor Co-ordination
  • Ability to develop Teamwork through leadership / people management.
  • Customer and results focused.
  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and organisation
  • Previous GMP cleaning background with demonstrable experience, preferably within the food industry desirable
  • Practical knowledge of ERP system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Incl: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio)
