Outline:

We are recruiting for a property solicitor for a prominent Dublin based lawfirm. Successful applicants will possess strong knowledge and experience in property law and regulations including land use, and property transactions, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality legal advice and expertise in property law to commercial and residential clients
  • Managing client relationships and maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Handling a range of property-related legal matters, such as acquisitions and sales of commercial, industrial, and retail properties, commercial leases, planning and environmental issues, financing and refinancing, and residential property transactions
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to property transactions.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis related to property law and regulations.
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings related to property disputes.
  • Providing strategic advice and recommendations to clients on property-related matters
  • Managing a caseload of property matters and ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Collaborating with other legal professionals and support staff within the firm to provide a comprehensive range of legal services to clients.
  • Staying up to date with changes in property law and regulations and incorporating these changes into legal advice and recommendations to clients.

Requirements:

  • A law degree from an accredited institution and qualified to practice law in Ireland.
  • A minimum of 1-4 years of PQE (Post-Qualification Experience) in property law
  • Relevant academic qualifications in law and a valid practicing certificate
  • Knowledge and understanding of Irish property law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a caseload of property matters effectively.
  • A dynamic, self-motivated disposition and a strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in legal drafting and documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize and achieve results under pressure.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills to provide expert legal advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate legal concepts and recommendations to clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in legal drafting and documentation.
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve complex legal issues related to property law.
  • Negotiation and mediation skills to represent clients in legal disputes and negotiations.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal technology and software to manage and organize legal documentation and caseloads effectively.
  • Understanding of commercial and financial issues related to property law.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks related to property law in Ireland and internationally.
